CREWKERNE Town Council’s Community Safety Group is set to repeat its community safety event in Falkland Square.

The event will take place on Friday, September 16th from 10am to 1pm and for people to drop in and chat with exhibitors and town councillors on matters which may cause them concern.

Organisers promise a good range of exhibitors, including firefighters, the Road Safety Team, Avon & Somerset Police, Trading Standards, Speedwatch and The Environment Agency along with many more.

Chairman of Crewkerne Community Safety Group, Councillor Mike Best (pictured) said: “The idea of the event is to give local people the opportunity to discuss their concerns about community safety issues, whether this is their personal safety or that of their environment, and to find out about things they might not have been aware of previously.?
