JOINT EFFORT: Firefighters, Aqua Centre staff and Rotarians joined forces to promote the use of defibrillators

SAFETY advice a plenty greeted visitors to Falkland Square in Crewkerne on Friday, September 16th.

Crewkerne Town Council held its annual community safety event, which included representatives from police, Trading Standards, firefighters, housing officers and many more offering advice.

Town councillors were also on hand to talk about any relevant concerns members of the public might have.

The Rotary Club of Crewkerne had a large presence as its members promoted the local public access defibrillator scheme.

Crewkerne has six designated defibrillator sites – West Street Surgery, 1610 Sports Centre, Crewkerne Fire Station, the store and Post Office in Kithill, the dental surgery in North Street and Cambridge Weight Loss Centre in George Precinct.
