Open Mic Night is exactly what it says on the tin, come down with your instruments and show us what you’ve got! Whether you’re a solo artist or a band, we want to hear you.
After the bands last week it would be great to see all of you acoustic and solo artists coming down with your guitars, keyboards and voices!
See Jack, Joe or myself to sign up on the night, we’re making a prompt start at 20:00 for music all night and into the early hours again.

On the behalf of the whole of MedFit (Medway Universitie’s Fitness society) I would like to invite you to join us during our open fitness session, which will take place at the Great Lines Park on the 3rd October 2012. The workouts will begin at 11am and will continue for a couple of hours. We would like to give you a taste of how our regular training works.
If you don’t know where The Great Lines Park is, meet me at 10:20 in Coopers (I will leave at 10:40)
We, as a society, aim to teach people a variety of training methods so they can lead a healthy and active lifestyle. The different training methods can be used to improve athletic functioning, aesthetics and all round self-confidence.
Training which we carry out can be tailored for individual or group needs and abilities therefore MedFit is open to everyone. The society will use gymnastics, weight training and military style circuits to provide functional training in a motivational and enjoyable environment.
Our qualified training staff will keep a close eye on the technique of executed moves ensuring safety of our members.

FreeRide society hit the snow centre!
For only £20 you get travel and a 1.5hr lesson, or a 3hr open practice session on real snow!
There are limited spaces, so get to the UMSA office as soon as possible to book your place. A standard lesson is normally £49, so this is an unmissable opportunity to try out skiing or snowboarding, especially if your not sure whether or not to commit to a week in the French Alpes yet! No previous experience required!
And if your an experienced skier/boarder, a 3hr session on the slope is plenty of time to get your skills back before the trip, or work on your 360’s!
SO, just drop by the UMSA office with a £20 note and book your space. Last year all the places were booked after a couple of days, so make sure you take advantage of this great opportunity and get there ASAP!

I live in south east London i have my own equipment what is the plan for traveling as i heard your not doing the coach thing anymore? Is there anyone going from were i live near averyhill greenwich campus or do i need to meet all the way in medway? I do drive but my car is small so will be a push to fit my snowboard and equipment in. what should I do?
also side note, can people not from uni join your club because my friends are interested?

Most new students from nigeria are not aware. I am sorry to say but the advertisement of this program no try at all! For two weeks, we saw nothing! asides coming here, there should be a physical banner or poster dat shud attract nigerians! arrrrggghhh>
