Thank you to all students who entered our free competition at the Freshers Fayre.  The results are as follows:


PIGGY BANK VALUE WAS £24.23

The winner has been notified via email and they win the money that was in the Piggy Bank.

 

SHOPPING BASKET RESULTS

Thank you to all students who entered our free competition at the Freshers Fayre.  The results are as follows:


‘BASIC’ SHOPPING BASKET VALUE WAS £11.25

‘BRANDED’ SHOPPING BASKET VALUE WAS £26.82

The winners have been notified via email and they win the goods that were in each basket.

START OF TERM DROP-IN SERVICE


For weeks commencing 17th & 24th September and 1st October the Advice Centre will be running the following Drop-In sessions:

              Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

 

From week commencing 8th October the Advice Centre will revert back to it’s normal Drop-In session times and days (as per our ‘Contact Us’ page).

Please be warned that some international students have had phone calls from a person claiming to be from the UKBA demanding payment of a fine. These calls are not geniune and you should not pay any money if you receive such a call.

-  At this time of the year there are numerous Student Finance scams in operation from fraudsters.  Please be very aware of any information that you give out or any emails that you reply to.  Please see Student Finances Online Safety for helpful tips and apply for payday loans no credit check only at trusted lenders.

Other News

-  Students who cannot get into the Advice Centre can call our telephone advice line on 01634 888855. This allows students with a quick query to talk with the Duty Adviser who will be available to offer advice and assistance.  The telephone does not have a voicemail facility and if the Duty Adviser is busy elsewhere students will be asked to call again later.
